Amrita Rao - Biography:

Amrita Rao was born to a Konkani speaking family. 
Canossa Convent Girls Amrita Attended High School in Mumbai, and got graduated in psychology, Which Eventually she did. Also she has got a sister who is Called Preetika Rao to South Indian actress Turned model.
She has modeled for Approximately 35 advertisements. Her first assignment WAS for Fairever Face Cream. Amongst other assignments Were Noticed That got her Hindustan Lever's 'Close-up' Cadbury's Perk, & Nestle Bru Coffee.
Amrita did her first movie acting debut in Ishq Vishq (2003). Ishq Vishq Was a world-wide hit and made her famous Virtually overnight. Amrita Rao también Brand Ambassador for D'Damas Gold Jewellery, Parachute Hair Oil, and Miss Players Apparels.
In 2004 she did a multi starrer film Masti Which was a hit and the Same year she did Main Hoon Na Shah Rukh Khan and opposite Zayed Khan Which was a blockbuster at the box office. Also she did a South film Athidhi (2007) opposite Mahesh Babu did well in South.Her Which performance in Sooraj Barjatya's Vivaah (2006) opposite Shahid Kapoor was outstanding.


Her latest film Mr Kalakaar Was Love U (2011) Which was a disaster at the box office. Presently she do not have Any other project.
